OUR FOUNDER
Suhasini Rao Jones, the founder of RAO INTERIORS, is not just an interior designer, she is a storyteller, weaving cultural influences and personal experiences into spaces that feel layered, soulful, and timeless.
Born and raised in Jaipur, India, her early years were shaped by the city’s vibrant colours, intricate craftsmanship, and majestic architecture. Later, her formative years in Dublin, Ireland, added another dimension- the rhythm of Irish music, the beauty of the Gaelic language, and the quiet charm of Irish architecture all left a lasting mark on her creative journey.
Her path led her to study Interior Design and Architecture in Dublin and Cardiff, where her multicultural background became the foundation of a unique design sensibility, one that merges old-world charm with contemporary elegance.
After graduating, Suhasini honed her craft on high-end commercial and residential projects with leading firms, refining her expertise and deepening her passion for craftsmanship, sustainability, and attention to detail. These values became the pillars of RAO INTERIORS.
Today, Suhasini brings this rich tapestry of experiences to every project. Her work is defined by character, warmth, and cultural flair- creating interiors that tell stories as much as they serve function.
